How to change font colors to match your blog background

Now that you've found your favorite background you will want to change the colors of the font to match. This is easy. Follow these simple steps.

1. Go to your blog DASHBOARD.
2. Select LAYOUT.
3. Select FONTS AND COLORS.
4. Click on what you want to change in the selection box. ie: Post Title Font
5. Now click on the color you would like to change it to.
6. Repeat step 4&5 to change all that you'd like.
7. Preview your blog to make sure the colors are what you desire.
8. SAVE CHANGES. This is important or you will have to start all over.

Sometimes you will find the color boxes will not have the exact color you may be wanting. If you are not happy with the color selections you have more options. What you will need to do is find the COLOR HEX CODE of the color you are wanting. Every color has a 6 digit hex code associated with it. To find the color hex code I suggest using Colour Lovers or Color Jack. These two websites are my favorites at finding color codes.

Once you find the 6 digit hex code simply put it in the EDIT COLOR HEX CODE box.

How to Install Background

Add some Bling on your Blog the easy way. Just follow these instructions to add some Bling!

All my background work best if you are currently using the Minima Template. If you are not using the Minima Template please install it from Blogger. Simply go to LAYOUT and choose PICK NEW TEMPLATE. Find Minima and select that as your background.


If you already are using the Minima Template or once you change it please follow these instructions.

1. Log on to you Blogger account (once you log on you will be in your DASHBOARD) if you are already logged on go to your DASHBOARD and select LAYOUT.
2. Select PAGE ELEMENTS
3. Select ADD A GADGET
3. Find HTML/JAVAScript, click the + to add to your blog. (A screen will now appear to Configure HTML/JavaScript.
4. COPY the blog background code (found under each background picture) and PASTE it in the CONTENT area.
5. Click SAVE
6. View Blog

You should now have a new blog background.
